A Box sired bull is always recognized in the pen by their prominent profile. Very masculine and regal looking bull raised by a two year old cow. You will notice that his weaning weight was not as it should be and the explanation is he was weaned off his cow prematurely and lost in the Cypress Hills. Luckily he was located and he did a pretty good job of looking after himself. Now that he is at home he is growing out nicely gaining well in the bull pen.

WOW did this heifer calf do one heck of a job raising this calf. This calf was sired by and AI bull Djawo Mack 4F. Mack has consistently sired calves weigh mid 70's lbs. He is true to his dark cherry color on all his calves and the feet are correct and upright. The dam of this bull is heifer 273K she is the daughter of cow 5110C who also has a bulls calf in this years offering. Both the dam and grand dam of this calf have the milking ability to wean off significant ratio to their own body weight. A first time heifer weaning off a 742 lb. calf with no creep feed is acceptional. This bull is on track with his pen mates gaining 3.2 lb /day.

Another standout in the pen, Harwood sired calves are beautiful animals. I love the neck extension and nice heads on these bulls. Third time calver really out did herself weaning of 784 lb calf. That definitely needs to be acknowledged with this bull. Hardwood calves have lots of middle and expanse of rib. The behind view of this calf is equally as impressive as his profile. We only have five Hardwood bulls on offer this year and they will be solid cow bulls each and everyone of them. The year these calves we conceived was a super dry year and a field full of second calvers.
